Persian Bible
God is near to all who call upon Her, to all who call upon Her in truth.
The Book of Psalms is a book of hymns and prayers in the Bible, written by various people over a long period of time. These hymns and prayers were collected by the Israelites and used in their worship and prayers, and were then added to their religious books.
These religious hymns and poems take on different forms: hymns of worship and praise to God; prayers for help, protection, and assistance for salvation and redemption; repentance and requests for forgiveness; thanksgiving for God’s blessings; and requests for punishment of enemies. These hymns are both personal and social; some are very intimate descriptions of the feelings of an individual, while others express the feelings and needs of the people.
